President:

My number one issue that I want to focus one is how FEDS is viewed. I want to make students more aware of what's going on and what everyone is capable of when it comes to enforcing change. Each year in GBDA gets to work with a different company, to improve their marketing, social media, websites, apps and so on. I plan to get the second or third-year GBDA students to update the FEDS website and help us find a better way to communicate with students in an effective manner.

For the People:  As the President I plan to go around often to talk to various students and find out what is on their mind and what is concerning them. More importantly, how we can improve certain things around campus.

Space: Making sure there is more study space added, both currently and in the future SLC expansion. I really hope the referdom for the espansion goes through and we get to add more to out great campus!

More School Spirit!

VP Finance:

Allocation: Making sure that your tuition is being allocated fairly to things that students actually want to be funded.

Transparency: Showing in clear simple diagrams just where your money goes as a student, so you know what you’re paying for and what you should get.

SLC Expansion: Working with the University so that the student’s share of the building costs is made smaller and the school pays more.

Ensure that the new Feds website launches without any problems.

VP Internal:

Co-operation: Contact with clubs should be constant and the VP Internal will work together with all clubs to make sure that they are always growing and progressing.

Organization: Working alongside Portal so that club events are known not just to members but to the general public so that everyone can partake in events.

Space2: Finding the space necessary for all clubs to have appropriate storage as well as more places to have events.

Expediency: Working together with the clubs and services managers so that requests are quickly processed and any situations are resolved beneficially for all parties involved.

Help foster a new and positive relationship with Imprint.

VP Education:

More Money: Lobbying the Provincial Legislature for more funding for the University of Waterloo.

More Opportunity: Lobbying at career conferences and fairs so that more co-op opportunities are available for our students.

Accessibility: Making sure students can get to class, whether it’s raining or snowing, via better plowing and easier access to accessibility services.
